What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Johnston Terminal a charming spot within The Forks, praised for its unique antique mall and local artisan shops. While some note it has less to see than the main market, the historic building and eclectic offerings provide an enjoyable browsing experience, especially for those seeking vintage items and local art.
"The second building houses much less to see and do. There is a cafe and a restaurant. You can find an antique shop downstairs, an Asian inspired store upstairs and kite and kaboodle- a game store for board games, puzzles and crafts. On the first floor you’ll also find a small art gallery that houses local artwork for sale.
Hopefully they can expand on this space and invite more people here."

"What a neat mall! I visited with my mum while we were exploring downtown. The old building is super cool, and though there aren't many stores inside, each has plenty to keep you entertained. I especially liked the antique mall on the basement level, which was absolutely huge and full of fascinating stuff."

"The Johnson Terminal in Winnipeg is full of charm, with a bunch of cool shops to explore and even the Old Spaghetti Factory for a classic dining experience. The antique store in the basement has lots of cool stuff and is definitely worth checking out! Between shopping, dining, and the unique vibe, it’s a fun spot to check out when your at the forks."
