"We did a family camp day this summer at Devils Coulee and it was so wonderful! The museum has a TON of stuff to see for such a small little town building. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, even when our toddler was not!
The dig site hike is absolutely worth it even on windy days! Steep grading down into the coulee so if you have trouble walking, probably skip this part. Manageable for regular ranges of motion and kids that love to climb! Guaranteed you’ll see something you didn’t expect to see on a trip down to the dig site!
Definitely recommend taking the short trip out to Warner to check out this absolute gem for dinosaur lovers! (Bring your wallet, the gift shop has some cool finds!)"

"We were told that this is the only museum that allows the visitor to touch real dinosaur bones and eggshells. This alone makes the museum a MUST SEE when you’re in southern Alberta.
We had a guided tour in the museum and then we drove out about a half hour away to the place where dinosaurs used to lay their eggs, their nest. There were many pieces of fossilized bones and eggshells which were pretty exciting to find.
I can’t imagine a more exciting experience walking where the dinosaurs used to walk, millions of years ago."
