"It was my first time visiting the Vernon Farmers Market.
I usually visit if it's the Friday night Polson Market, or if you really want to go into the time capsule, the previous weekday Farmers Markets held in the Village Green parking lot.
There were about 30 stalls altogether set up on Monday. About 10 of them are dedicated to food and the rest are dedicated to everything else.
Make sure to get there prior to 12:30 as live music ends by then and vendors start packing up.
It's not a big setup, but feel free to visit if you're looking for something to do on a weekday in Vernon."

"The local farm produce was not really in season yet, but there were several interesting products for sale. One of my favorites is Haskap Berry syrups and jams. I may have to go back and get a real supply of them. 2 jars are obviously not going to last long. Also, the pastries at Fritz are worth the trip by themselves."
