What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rogers Arena is a dynamic venue praised for its electric atmosphere during Canucks games and its ability to host major concerts. Visitors appreciate the helpful staff and clean facilities, though the high cost of food and drinks is a common point of feedback. Getting to and from the arena via public transit is highly recommended for a smoother experience.
"Go during an all-Canadian team game, it’s the best. BCLC had a hockey shooting thing setup, which didn’t work well but extremely fun and gave away free bags. Atmosphere during the playoffs is more intense but a all Canadian game is also a really good time to go"

"Went for Wu-Tang with Run the Jewels. Both groups put on amazing shows. The view from the top of Section 107 was perfect for seeing the stage.
Drinks were pricey but that is to be expected, only issue was why White Spot had to pour my water into a cup while all the small stands removed the lids and gave the bottle. Not a big deal just seems strange to have 2 different polices for how beverages are served.
The seats were comfy so a great night was had."

"Tasmanian in Vancouver…
Tickets for the Canucks v Jets purchased through Ticketmaster came through to my phone almost immediately. Downloaded the app just to be sure, created an account and the tickets were in the account as well. Rogers arena was accessible, we walked from our hotel, staff were very helpful and we even got to chatting to locals lined up to wait. Best to get there and be waiting 1 hour before game time. Facilities are clean and well signed, lifts available in case those stairs to level 3 are daunting. Food is available everywhere. Card payments only. No cash! Do try not to leave your seat during play. It’s the polite thing to do. Getting away was also easy we followed the crowd instead of trying to walk the in the opposite direction and still managed to get back to our hotel, just took another route, (Thank you google maps!). As for the game! It was spectacular! Never been to an ice hockey match, don’t know the rules! But the atmosphere was electric and exciting and the Canucks won 6 to 2! Think we might have been a lucky charm!"
