Reviews Summary
Jump City offers a high-energy environment with diverse activities like trampolines, a ninja course, and laser tag, making it a hit for kids' parties and active fun. However, some visitors find the pricing steep for what's included, citing extra charges for games and snacks, and inconsistent staff attentiveness. Cleanliness and temperature control have also been points of concern for some.
"We recently visited Jumpcity in Scarborough—it wasn’t our first time, and our kids always have a blast here! The place has a fun, energetic atmosphere with lots of exciting activities like jumping, climbing, and different play options to keep them busy.
However, there are a couple of things that could be better:
Extra charges for games – It would be fairer if everything was included in the entry fee instead of paying extra for some attractions.
Staff supervision – Some activities need more attentive staff (rather than just teenagers) to ensure kids stay safe while playing.
Overall, though, the kids always have a great time, and it’s a solid spot for active, energetic fun. Just a few tweaks could make it even better!"

"Overall, Jump City was a letdown. The whole place just doesn’t live up to expectations—especially when you compare the price you pay with what you actually get. Their definition of a “day pass” is really just a one-time entry pass (unlike many other indoor playgrounds where you can come and go throughout the day). On top of that, everything else—drinks, snacks, food—is extra.
I completely understand the importance of not allowing outside food and drinks for allergy and hygiene reasons—I actually support that rule 100% (though hygiene and cleanliness is a whole other issue I’ll get into later). But at the very least, if you’re selling a “day pass,” you should provide access to basic necessities like water. It’s fine to charge for overpriced soda and juice, but come on—some drinking water should be included. Instead, you’re stuck paying even more inside after already dropping a hefty fee just to get in.
Some staff were friendly and offered great service, but others clearly had that “I don’t care” attitude, which really dampens the experience—especially when you’re here with kids expecting a fun day out. The inconsistent service was hard to ignore.
The rules also felt a bit hypocritical. Guests are required to wear socks and no outside shoes inside—which is totally fine and standard across most indoor playgrounds. But then you see staff walking around freely in their outdoor shoes all over the same play areas. How does that make any sense?
Finally, hygiene and cleanliness were a major issue. Inside the ball pit and main play zones, I could literally see dirt, trash, and leftover debris. For a facility meant for young children—and charging this kind of price—it’s honestly unacceptable. Cleanliness clearly isn’t a priority here.
Not coming back, and wouldn’t recommend it to others. Not worth the price, not worth the hype"

"Update: Unfortunately, after booking a party two months in advance, Scarborough closed down without any notice. No calls, no emails, no signage, and no response to repeated phone calls. We only found out by checking Instagram and thankfully the Richmond Hill location retuned our call. This caused major stress since we had already paid a deposit and sent out invitations. While Richmond Hill accommodated us (thankfully), the lack of communication from Scarborough was unacceptable. Dropping my rating to 2 stars until this location shows better reliability and customer service.

I visited Jump City Scarborough today for a birthday party and was honestly surprised to see all the bad reviews — I had a great time!
There’s so much to do. We were in Party Room #4, which had a lot of space, easily accommodating a bigger group. Yes, the facility could use some upkeep (for example, there’s tape on the floors — I’m guessing it’s there to cover cracks and prevent injuries), but nothing that took away from the fun.
The socks were reasonably priced at $3.50, and they were good quality grip socks — definitely not a rip-off.
The party package includes a card for guests with 20 credits. This could be improved, as most arcade games cost at least 8 credits, meaning kids only get to play about two games. The arcade pricing felt a bit steep, but to be fair, there's a lot more to Jump City than just the arcade.
The laser tag was amazing and a ton of fun. The trampolines were great, the jungle gym was fantastic, and the wall climbing activities were especially impressive.
One area for improvement is staff attentiveness. While most of the teenagers working there were fine, some (mainly the boys) seemed a bit lazy and needed better supervision — especially around the rock climbing walls where safety is important.
The facility was cleaner than a lot of party venues I’ve been to recently — no dust bunnies, no random hairs, and the staff seemed to clean throughout the day. Even the bathrooms were clean, which is rare at places like this.
The location is a little tucked away, next to a very busy supermarket with a tight parking lot, but it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, I would give Jump City Scarborough 4 out of 5 stars.
I’d definitely recommend it for a fun, active party — just go in with the right expectations."

Navigating Jump City: Activities and Attractions
Beyond the physical challenges, Jump City also boasts a laser tag arena, offering an exciting combat simulation experience for groups. While some arcade games are available, it's worth noting that they often require separate credits, which can add to the overall cost. The facility also includes a foam pit for safe landings and a snack bar for refueling.
It's important to note that some visitors have expressed concerns about the upkeep of certain attractions, such as laser tag being frequently out of order, and the need for more attentive staff supervision, particularly around safety-critical areas like the climbing walls. Despite these points, the variety of activities ensures there's something for everyone looking for an energetic indoor experience.
Birthday Parties and Group Events
When planning a party, it's crucial to book well in advance, as some visitors have experienced sudden closures of locations without prior notice, causing significant stress and disruption to their plans. The lack of communication in such instances has been a major point of dissatisfaction for some. However, when events run smoothly, the venue is praised for its value and the fun it provides for children.
For group events beyond birthdays, such as summer camps, Jump City can be a fantastic venue for active outings, fostering energy and community among participants. Ensuring clear communication and confirmation of bookings is key to a successful group experience at Jump City.
Value and Expectations at Jump City
Visitors often compare Jump City to other indoor playgrounds, and some feel it doesn't quite measure up in terms of included amenities or overall experience for the price. The expectation of basic necessities like included water or more generous arcade credits is often unmet, leading to disappointment.
However, many families still find that their children have a blast and enjoy the energetic atmosphere and variety of activities. The key seems to be managing expectations: understanding that grip socks are an extra purchase, arcade games cost extra, and the focus is on active play rather than all-inclusive entertainment.
