What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
El Catrin is celebrated for its stunning, vibrant atmosphere and delicious Mexican small plates, particularly its fresh guacamole and flavorful tacos. The lively heated patio and extensive tequila selection are major draws. While most experiences are highly positive, occasional issues with initial host interactions or service pacing have been noted.
"I really enjoyed my time here! The atmosphere was vibrant and beautifully designed، the patio seating was cozy and lively, perfect for enjoying dinner with friends. The sauces were truly unique and full of flavor. The only thing that wasn’t quite to my taste was the meat in the tacos, but overall, it was a lovely and memorable experience."

"Had an awesome dining experience!
Our waitress (Elle) was excellent.
She provided excellent suggestions for our inquiries based on her knowledge of the menu.
Elle recommended the 4-Tequilla special and I would 100% agree!
The food was exceptional and the atmosphere!
We will be returning!"

"Today around 2:45 pm, we went to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday, as we have visited before and really like the place.
When we arrived, the host told us there were no tables available. We asked if there was a waiting list, since we really wanted to dine there, but he said no, that a lot of people were coming and the wait would be long. However, we looked inside the restaurant and noticed several empty tables, which felt confusing, so we decided to leave.
After that, we tried making a reservation online and were surprised to see that reservations were available for the same time. We booked a table for 3:00 pm and returned. When we informed the host that we had a reservation, he looked visibly uncomfortable, but eventually gave us the menus and seated us.
From that point on, the food and service were very good. However, the initial interaction was unpleasant and uncomfortable, and we truly felt like we were not welcome or were being pushed away. This can even be confirmed on the security cameras, which would show us leaving and then returning with a valid reservation.
We don’t know the reason behind the host’s attitude, but we believe he is not the right person to welcome guests. This is unfortunate, because the restaurant itself is great, and this experience does not reflect the quality of the place."
