Hilarious and heartbreaking.  Fifteen Dogs, a Crow’s Theatre production, is an adaptation of André Alexis’s 2015 book. Set in Toronto, this canine adventure uses humour and storytelling to reflect on the larger question: If dogs were granted human intelligence, would they be happier than us? We sat down with the author and with director, Marie Farsi, to discuss Fifteen Dogs, which is on until Feb....

Low key felt called out by this one 👀 As someone who spends a lot of time online (hi, content creator here 🙋🏼‍♀️), watching Octet at @crowstheatre was both hilarious and uncomfortably relatable. Eight strangers in a support group, all addicted to different corners of the internet, from doomscrolling to gaming- singing about the ways technology both connects AND consumes us. The harmonies? What Travellers Say

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about Crow's Theatre's intimate setting and the quality of its thought-provoking, original productions, particularly those by Canadian playwrights. The polite staff and reasonable parking fees are also highlights, though the parking lot's capacity is a common concern. The theatre is praised for its contribution to the Toronto theatre scene.

"What is gem of a theatre! I went to see Flex and found myself at Crows Theatre for the very first time. It is a small venue with an intimate setting, which was brilliant. The set was magnificently crafted with an actual half court built in, which served as many settings with the creative use of benches and bags. The acoustics were perfect, and the actresses could be heard clearly. The ushers were polite and unintrusive, and the nicest thing is that they allowed for photography before and after the show and during the curtain call. With such a small number of audience members, it was intimate and the seats well laid out for the venue.
I noticed another play that I am interested in and would happily return to Crows Theatre to see it. There is parking right under the theatre at a very reasonable $10 charge which is a breath of fresh air next to the $25-$35 one would usually pay in the city. Next time I plan to come in a little earlier or stay a little later to explore the Beaches neighborhood a bit more.
Well, done staff at Crows Theatre! I will be back!"

"Crow's consistently mounts work that is both thought provoking and entertaining. The two spaces are small enough for an intimate theatre experience. There isn't a bad seat in the house!"

Bill Kennedy

"Do not drive to this theater. Take transit or Uber/Lyft. I arrived 30 minutes before showtime and the underground lot was full. It’s also poorly marked and easy to get lost inside. When I finally arrived inside the theater, it was half empty. This means the underground parking is too small."
