Biidaasige Park is now open to the public and it is a jewel in the city. As each year passes and the trees mature and more wildlife find their natural habitat here, this will grow to be a city fave. Here are 5 things to know about Toronto’s new Biidaasige Park’s playground: 1️⃣ It features Toronto’s first ziplines; 2 of them. The Cableway Canyon has 20-metre & 40-metre cableways. 2️⃣ There are 2 picnic “terraces” that feature communal picnic tables. The Raccoon Picnic Terrace was on paved ground (not grass) - we didn’t check out the other picnic terrace (River View) but I expect it’s the same...

Reviews Summary

Biidaasige Park is a highly praised new addition to Toronto's green spaces, celebrated for its family-friendly amenities like ziplines and water play areas, alongside scenic waterfront trails and dog-friendly zones. Visitors appreciate the park's cleanliness, ample picnic spots, and beautiful city views, though some note the limited shade and slippery surfaces near play areas.

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing new park — Biidaasige Park in downtown Toronto!

Brought my family here for the first time and we were blown away. There’s lots of free parking and the park itself is huge — a long, beautiful strip with something for everyone.

The zip line was our favourite — so much fun! The water play area with pumps and sand came in a close second. There are also great climbing structures and slides for kids of all ages (ours are 5 and 8 and had the best time).

Tons of picnic tables and even BBQs, with lots of garbage and coal drop-off bins, which keeps the park very clean. We also loved the views of the city skyline and watching planes flying overhead from Billy Bishop Airport — the kids thought that was super cool.

Cyclists ride along the paths, but most go slowly and are respectful — just keep an eye out when walking with little ones.

Overall, it’s an incredible new space for families in the city. My kids rated it 100 out of 10, and we’ll definitely be coming back!"

"A beautiful new park in Toronto that instantly became one of my favorites! It has two off-leash areas for dogs, both with artificial grass and hills that feel like a mini golf course. My dog had an absolute blast running around; it was like watching a kid at an amusement park.

The park also offers a barbecue area, a zipline, several interactive playgrounds for kids, spots for fishing and canoeing, and a scenic walking trail. The trees are still young, but once they grow, they’ll provide plenty of shade on hot summer days. Water fountains are available throughout the park, and the sunset views are absolutely breathtaking."

"Excellent experience with the kids here. Limited parking as it gets busy but if you come on off- hours it's ok. There's activities for a wide range of ages, but it's definitely geared towards toddlers and younger children. There seems to be a large ratio of parents to kids here so it looked busier than it actually is. Lots of types of play including climbing, swings, balance ropes, zip lines, slides, and more."
