What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
ArtworxTO Toronto is highly praised for its free, life-changing arts programs and supportive community, particularly for those seeking healing and creative development. However, some users have experienced frustration with an inconsistent and poorly communicated membership application process.
"I used to be a part of Workman '16- '19 and gave up my spot while I was in school and covid. I applied to go back in '22 and '23 to never receive info about the status of my app, only notification once that others had been selected and was told they had old databses and they could not find me, they still have final selections to do and again, heard nothing back. Sent two more emails and just completely ignored from that point on. The whole process was completely unprofessional in comparison to the first time I applied and the vagueness and unaddressed questions make it obvious they don't care about past members, or even informing them what their new processes might be. Typical clique vibe except this is not some expensive studio/private space. Bring back the old staff, they were great. Don't 'fix' what's not broken.
EDIT: I've tried several times to address this issue and have been blown off or just ignored. It's obvious that workman has it's own agenda as to who it wants it's members to be, and who they don't want back. Not only was this experience not inclusive it was extremely divisive in how concerns and questions were handled by new staff.
EDIT: 09-15-24 : For some reason I keep getting spammed by numerious email lists by Workman. I'm going to give you any $$, or will I keep unsubscivbing to have your fundraising emails always land in my box. You don't have room for me, don't ask for my $$$, I donate to organizations whose mandate Iactually support."

"A place where people come together and heal through being creative, and teaching personal freedom and vision with skills and wisdom. Goodness comes concomitant with cultivating epochal yet humble changes the community shares within and without.
