"I just love taking my dogs walking there! Not only are there Great walking trails, but things to see while you walk! I love all the old machinery and log buildings you can go inside with all the vintage bunks n kitchen etc! Wonderful hill to go sledding on in the winter and animals like ducks, rabbits, etc for the kids or adults to enjoy seeing! Nice big playground for the kids to play in! Just a really family friendly place!"

I went in the evening when it was cool enough for a big dude to go out on an extended walk.
If it is a hot day though, there are a few good spots to get in the water along the walking trail.
Excellent place for hiking, biking, tanning or swimming.
There was a yoga session going on in the field.
In the winter time there is a big hill that is great for family sliding.
