What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Silkscarf Winery for its intimate, family-run atmosphere and the quality of its small-batch wines, with many leaving with multiple bottles. While the wine selection and scenic views are highlights, some guests have noted inconsistent friendliness from tasting room staff.
"We decided to stop in for a quick tasting at Silkscarf Winery. Beautiful tasting room with a couple of stools to sit at. Our pourer wasn’t the friendliest and impatient.
Tastings are $7.00/person for 4 pours but only waived if you buy two bottles. Nutty. Good thing is you can select any of their 16 wines. Wine bottles are $26.97 to $39.95.
- 2018 Shiraz reserve - don’t see a shiraz often. Smooth with black pepper notes.
- 2021 Gewurz fizz - light, off dry sparkling. Good bubbles.
- 2022 Viognier
- 2020 PGV - slightly sweeter than the viognier."

"Exactly what I want in a wine tasting experience! Asked both of us questions to understand our preferences then made suggestions for what we should try. Was spot on! We left with 4 bottles. Thank you Silkscarf!"
