Reviews Summary

Tantalus Lookout is celebrated for its breathtaking panoramic views of Honolulu, Diamond Head, and the Pacific Ocean, especially during sunset. Visitors appreciate its accessibility and scenic beauty as a perfect stop on a road trip. However, some caution is advised regarding car break-ins, and parking can be limited during peak times.

"Must stop if your going from Whistler to Vancouver nice views. It was a bit cloudy today but still a nice place to take some pictures 📸. Nobody was there when we stopped but soon after people showed up. There is enough parking."

A SoRia

"This place is small but stunning, more so when the day is sunny. The actual point is on the return journey from Squamish to Vancouver and it offers a wonderful view of the mountains. But if you have not done the Sea to Sky Gondola ride then the views here are a must . A little before the official lookout point is an area that allow you to go down to the glowing water and touch it. As I had done the gondola already I found this area to be amazing especially as it allows a touchy feeling of the cold and clear water flowing"

Ankur Bhatnagar

"Tantalus Lookout was honestly one of the best stops we made along the Sea-to-Sky Highway! The view of the snow-capped Tantalus Range was absolutely stunning—it felt like a scene straight out of a postcard. We pulled over for a quick break and ended up staying longer than planned just to soak in the mountain air and the peaceful vibe.

The lookout is easy to access and doesn’t require a hike, which makes it perfect for a scenic rest stop or a quick photo op. Parking was limited but manageable when we went. It’s definitely worth pulling over if you’re driving between Vancouver and Whistler. Don’t miss this hidden gem!"
