Visitors consistently praise the abbey's beautiful architecture, serene lakeside setting, and the delicious artisanal cheeses, especially the Bleu Bénédictin. Many find the spiritual atmosphere and the opportunity to learn about monastic life enriching. "Are you ready for a heavenly cheese experience on the Eastern Townships Cheesemakers Circuit?! This is the place for you! Beautiful and tranquil surroundings, beautiful church and amazing cheese selection including old blue cheese - my personal favorite! 👍 Spend a few minutes in the church to give thanks for everything you have in life! Perhaps say a prayer 🙏 for others!"

"We’d been curious about this place for years—our school always ran fundraisers with their cheeses—so we finally decided to visit.

The Abbaye itself is beautiful. We took the tour, which was interesting, though I might skip it next time. That said, we did learn some neat facts, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the Abbaye. You can tell the staff here truly care about what they do.

We were especially excited to see the cheese factory, but due to high tourism (great for them!), access is now restricted as it disrupts the monks.

It was a hot day, so we didn’t explore the outdoor grounds as much as we’d like, but it’s a charming place to visit. Picking up fresh cheese on-site—and at a good price—was a definite highlight.

We’ll be back again one day 😊"

Alicia Kershaw

"Amazing experience! Very spiritual to sit in on a service, have picnic on the grounds. Pick apples in the fall. Their cheese is delicious. Highly recommend"
