Parc de la Pointe Rivière-du-Loup is a beautiful natural spot offering stunning St. Lawrence River views, especially at sunset. Visitors appreciate the shoreline for walks, discovering unique formations at low tide, and family-friendly amenities like playgrounds and picnic areas. However, a notable drawback is the lack of full accessibility in the restrooms.
"Beautiful place with amazing views of St. Lawrence River , benches and playground. There is a problem with restrooms, which are NOT accessible for those who use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. There is a 4-5 inches curb in front of restrooms' entrances!"
Khosrow A.
"Lovely shoreline where you can enjoy a stroll on the paved walkway with benches and picnic tables or enjoy the sand and water. You can see little critters (krill etc) and small birds. I also heard you can sometimes see sting rays and even whales in the water!
I suggest walking along the sand to admire the beautiful tectonic plate formations coming out of the ground! There were lots of people relaxing on the benches, some playing some relaxing instruments. There’s a bike path along with the walking trails and some swing benches as well.
I also saw a house that looked like it is a restaurant or cafe.
There’s good parking area across and more further down on the side of the road."
