"Beautiful, well-kept park right in downtown Richmond. You’ll find plenty of sports fields, a community center with a gym and event space, and even a small chapel. My favorite spot is the lake on the north side—shady benches, calm water, and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to unwind. Great place to play, stroll, or just sit and chill."

"I would highly recommend this park if you are looking for somewhere shady in Richmond to have a nice afternoon stroll in the summer. The park is lined with lush trees and winding paved paths. There are several ponds with nice reflection of scenery, bridges, overlooks, and lots of geese. In fact there are too many geese that bird poo filled most of path. That’s why I took one star off. One goose even almost attacked me when I and my small dog walked within a meter passing the goose. We didn’t even do anything. They are way too aggressive. Anyways, aside from that, the park is big enough to spend an hour strolling around. There are also playgrounds, soccer/baseball fields."

"Great park with lots of facilities and open areas. There is quite a bit of bird poop around, especially around the water/pond areas, and the ponds weren’t very well maintained when I visited in August."
