What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Redstreak Campground is praised for its stunning location, proximity to Radium Hot Springs, and beautiful natural surroundings with abundant wildlife. Visitors appreciate the clean facilities and friendly staff. However, some reviews point to dated infrastructure, inconsistent hot water, and potential extra fees for fire permits, with a few noting cramped sites and rough internal roads.
"We have stayed here twice now and have enjoyed our stay both times! The location is prime and absolutely beautiful. The trails and hikes available in Redstreak are great and range from easy to moderate. The sites are nice and big, decently spread apart and tons of mature trees. Tons of wildlife in the area which is exciting to see!
The bathrooms and showers are clean and there are lots of them. There are dishes sinks at most of the bathrooms and water taps throughout the park.
Although not a negative for us, there is limited cell service at the campground.
The only negative is that not all sites have a fire pit. We did not have a fire pit but we did checkout the woodpile which looked great and seeing the other sites having fires the wood seems fairly dry considering the amount of rain the area has received over the last month."

"This is a nice full service national park campground, but it is probably up for a bit of a renovation of the infrastructure. Our nearest bathroom did not have hot water working, but no one told us, so we discovered it during ice showers. This campground has a good number of deer and other critters, which was a pleasant surprise. Family entertainment was lots of fun. We took in the Taylor Swift Airs Tour, which uses popular culture to educate about birds at risk."

"This campground is nice, probably not what we were personally looking for but it’s good. It’s super chilled, very shaded and fairly quiet. There is a walk down a big hill to the town with a few bars and shops (not like Banff).
Toilets and shower block needs updating, very old. Staff were super friendly and so helpful (5*)"
