"We drove up to Canada and spent one day in Montreal and the 4 days in Quebec City. Lots to see here. In QC, we stayed at a small hotel in the old city so easy to walk around the Frontenac and old city area. Near the Frontenac, the Place de’Armes is a beautiful little park with statues and many things to see. One night by Champlain statue, we saw a circus act free. Very nice."

A tall and beautiful statue with water fountain ⛲️ in the middle of the park is mind blowing during a hot summer. It has a lot of historical and cultural significance in the history of Québec City. Visitors can see the Québec city tourism information centre just in front of the park. If you get extra time from your tour you can spend hours and hours just watching the beauty of the park and the city as well."

"This park is across from the pretty, cafe-lined Rue St. Anne in Upper Quebec. Two arts venues ran off of it. Rue de Tresor, on which the Old Law Courts building (formerly a monastery) is located, has streets lined with art produced and being sold by local artists.
Surrounded by tourist attractions and historic architecture, this tree-filled park and public square is said to be the hub of Old Québec.
Given its strategic location next to the Tourist Information Centre, Château Frontenac, and Dufferin Terrace. In the middle of the park is a Gothic fountain on which stands the Faith Monument (monument de la Foi) commemorating the three hundredth anniversary of the arrival of the Recollet Fathers in Québec.
It is the departure point for many guided tours of the city, as well as the boarding point for various motorcoach excursions."
