Reviews Summary

Prince Rupert City Hall is praised for its beautiful historic architecture and the significant cultural display of First Nation totem poles. Visitors also appreciate the statue of founder Charles Melville Hays and the pleasant surrounding park. It's considered a gem in the city, especially for its historical context and visual appeal.

"Beautiful historic city hall right in downtown, the park next door is worth checking out as well. A gem in the city."

Michael Gray

"On our visit to Prince Rupert, in north western Canada, we would walk past the City Hall every day and admire the imposing building with a number of First Nation totem poles in the garden lawn. There was also a statue in the garden which is of the founder of this city, Charles Melville Hays, president of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. Hays had visualized this island as the perfect terminus for marine trade, and for rail and sea travel. Hays met with an untimely and tragic death in 1912, aboard the RMS Titanic."

Vijay Shivdasani

"Nice and colourful. Gardens always wonderful."
