Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning panoramic views from the Cutbanks, calling it a must-see in Prince George. The park offers a mix of challenging climbs and scenic, gentler trails, making it appealing to various fitness levels. While some find the loop trail quite vertical, the rewarding vistas and natural beauty are consistently praised.

"We went up to the Cutbanks' top today. It's an amazing short intenst climbing with thrilled challenging feelings. It's really worth to take the challenge if you are visiting Prince George."

Alan

"Fun spot to hike up the famous Prince George cutbanks, visit the sand caves, and dip in the river after. From the McMillan parking lot sign, 1) take the steep trail straight up to see the caves directly and then hike along the ridge to the main banks with rope. Or 2) take the flat trail beyond the sign and access the gentler switchbacks trail to get to the top, or climb the rope straight up for a workout"

Tiffany Bonnett

"The loop trail is a lot more vertical than I expected. The view from the top of the cutbanks looking over town is very good. The trail that just leads to the viewpoint is short and easy so you could easily take kids or have a picnic or something. The whole loop trail is very easy but you do spend a lot of time heading up and down if you have bad joints they might ache a little. Expect to take a little under an hour to do the loop."
