The Lighthouse restaurant is a standout for its delicious breakfast. While some find the rooms a bit pricey, the overall experience, including the scenic harbour boardwalk and proximity to Sandbanks, is highly recommended. Minor issues with amenities like refrigerators have been noted by some.
"Fantastic stay! The rooms were clean and felt very fresh and well kept. The outside too, we played board games late into the night on the boardwalk, right beside the harbour! If you love fishing, some of the best fishing charters on the Bay dock here. It’s a very short walk to the bustling downtown as well. Check in and check out was super smooth, you get a code to your phone but there is still someone available if you have any issues. The Lighthouse restaurant in the Inn is a great breakfast too!
Highly recommended!"

"My experience at the Picton Harbour Inn was short, but long enough to give an adequate review. When I arrived I wasn't expecting the quality of the Inn. I thought it was going to be a let down. I can happily state that my fears were quickly calmed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The beds were made well and were comfortable. There's a coat rack in each room. There's a coffee/tea maker in each room. There's a few free basic TV channels. The TV is a basic, not a smart, flat screen TV that's about 32 inches with the ability to connect devices via HDMI ports on the TV. You can also swivel the TV. The bathroom sink and countertop is big enough to support two people easily getting ready for day or night. I think people with disabilities would have difficulties with things like the shower head. The rooms are quite expensive when you are comparing this Inn to a hotel. I think it's a bit over priced but at the same time it exceeded my expectations so I didn't complain. There's a coffee/tea maker. The rooms had a refrigerator. It was on upon arrival as I needed to confirm this by going to the help desk to ask the attendant to look at it because it wasn't cold. It was not able to even get a juice box cold overnight, let alone in a few hours. I'm sure not all of their refrigerators worked as bad as mine did because that's quite a big problem if they were. I wasn't free ice machines. There's an A/C unit in every room that can go as low as 60 degrees celsius. The area and the property of the Inn felt safe day and night. The area is clean. The people and staff are friendly. There are accessible parking spots, ramps up to the first floor but not into the restaurant. I don't know how the Inn gets disabilities individuals to the second floor. It's close, maybe 500 feet, to the waterfront. Which is nice for family walks and even some dock fishing. I highly recommend trying the restaurant inside the Inn. Especially the breakfast. For a small Inn, the restaurant inside was probably the best food I had around Picton Harbour for the price. I only had an issue with the shower accessibility, the coffee/tea maker, and the refrigerator. The location is okay. Being a small town you could walk to most places you'd need to go but it's still a little out of the way, but if you like it quiet and simple this is a great place. All in all, there are some simple but important changes the Inn could make to become a very great place, but not too much for me not to want to stay at this location again."

"Five stars all the way. The restaurant at Picton Harbour Inn is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with great service that makes you feel right at home.
The food is outstanding—especially the breakfast poutine. It’s rich, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Prince Edward County. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything came out hot and fresh.
If you’re in Picton and looking for a memorable breakfast spot, this is the place. Highly recommend."
