After 110 years, several artifacts that were stolen from the Tla'amin First Nation, based in Powell River, have returned home. In a rare, double repatriation moment in two days, the nation reclaimed artifacts from both the Museum of Vancouver (MOV) and UBC's Museum of Anthropology (MOA). #nativetiktok #native #indigenous #indigenoustiktok #nativeamerican #natives #ndn #americanindian #rez #nativet...

Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find the Tla'amin Nation Governance House and Totems to be a place of significant cultural importance and visual interest. The totem poles are often praised for their intricate carvings and the stories they represent. Some visitors express a desire for more information or context to fully appreciate the site's depth.

"From what I understand, they don't know buffalos real well.
I'm First Nations, but was transplanted to Florida while I was still DNA from Mom.
I'm disappointed about the buffalo. I also don't know all the rest of mom's brothers and sisters and cousins and aunts and uncles. But from what I can see, they are probably all disappointed about the buffalo situation as myself. I'm hoping there is a sister tribe that likes cattle like animals. Particularly, you guessed it, buffalo. I want to be a real indian. Feathers and all that. God bless you and thank you for understanding."
