Cleanliness- Impeccable. Every corner of the inn was spotless—from the beautifully maintained rooms to the common areas, it’s clear that the team takes pride in every detail. It felt like staying in a lovingly kept time capsule, where vintage charm meets modern comfort.
Service- Absolutely top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. A very special shoutout to Kelly and Frankie, whose warmth, kindness, and attentiveness truly made the experience unforgettable. They embody hospitality at its finest and made us feel like part of the family.
And then there’s the breakfast… wow. Included in our stay, but truly worth raving about on its own. Words almost fall short—it was creative, delicious, and clearly made with passion. Every bite was a delight, and it's not often you leave breakfast already planning your next visit.

"You will enjoy the old courthouse Inn in Powell River if you tend toward quaint historic buildings and artifacts. The included breakfast was great! My room overlooks the water and the defunct pulp mill. The building is 3 floors with no elevator. Coming in requires you walking up 2 flights for reception. The hallways are filled with antiques, old photos and bric-a-brac. The well equipped rooms are small and old fashioned. You hang your clothes in a wardrobe rather than a closet. The bathrooms are old fashioned and don't have much counterspace. The shower stalls are excellent with good hot water, lots of pressure. Experiencing history is nice but comes with a few drawbacks. The walls are not very soundproof and you can hear other guests. I was also woken up by a dog barking. Old buildings need more maintenance and I think this building is due for electrical upgrades. I plugged in my phone and it told me to check the connection. I also saw the lights flicker when a motor started up. One electrical outlet didn't work at all. Staying here is an interesting experience but once was enough."
