"Visiting in the winter is beautiful, cold as expected and today it's windy. The water is lovely. Nice area to park. There's a Pier you can take a walk and view other picturesque angles.
The Perce Rock is just amazing to look at and experience. I reckon it is also lovely here during the other seasons.
The town is not very busy but here is pretty interesting and has many houses and things to see and do compared to other parts ventured near by."

"“CHECK FOG STATUS BEFORE VISITING”
I wonder if the city has any website sharing fog conditions. We tried for three consecutive days but can’t see anything. The whole city was foggy with zero visibility. The only time we could see the rock was via ferry ride by getting very close to it. So no pics with Perce rock in background :(
If you are planning a trip to Gaspe, visit Perce on very first day, so that if it is foggy then you will have a chance to try again at end of your stay with gap of few days. If the weather conditions are good then there are various points across the city to see the rock without paying any money."

The Majesty of Percé Rock
Visibility is key when visiting Percé Rock. Fog is a common occurrence in this coastal region, and it can completely obscure the rock, turning a highly anticipated view into a frustrating experience. Many visitors recommend planning your visit to Percé early in your Gaspé trip to allow for multiple attempts to see the rock under clear skies. Boat tours are highly recommended as they not only get you closer to the rock for a better perspective but also offer a chance to see it from different angles, often revealing details not visible from the shore.

Timing your visit to Bonaventure Island is crucial. The gannet nesting season typically runs from spring through early fall, with peak activity often in the summer months. The ferry services and park access are seasonal, usually operating from late May to mid-October. It's advisable to book your ferry tickets and check park information in advance, especially during the busy summer season.
