What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise the Penticton Peach Festival for its free nightly entertainment and family-friendly atmosphere, with many highlighting the value of the event. However, some found the parade less impressive than anticipated, and parking can be a significant challenge during peak festival times. Despite minor criticisms, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
"We were actually expecting the peach festival to be a bit... more?
Went early to secure free parking. The peach fest parade was late and kind of disappointing. Not much shady areas and lots of people lining the sidewalks. When the parade finally arrived, there really weren’t any parade "floats"... mainly just people driving regular cars and promoting their businesses. Had an occasional group of people walking along the float route. The ice skating/dancers seemed a bit tired from the heat.
Wouldn't go out of my way to wait and see this."

"What a great event this year!
Men Without Hats were the greatest
Highlight for me.
I hadn't seen them since the early and mid 80s and they are still going strong!
Peach Fest is always great fun! 🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑🍑"

"Peach festival has always been great. Where else can you get free entertainment every night for 5 nights. In years past the artist have been very good as I'm more of a classic rock person. This year the artists weren't bands that I listened to as much so I didn't go to the shows. Hopefully next year brings bands I'm more familiar with again."
