What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Moose Beach is a beloved family destination, praised for its clean sand, fun water park, and adjacent park amenities. Visitors appreciate the free parking and access to food options. Some note the beach can get crowded on weekends and the washrooms might have a few spiders.
"Tried the Splash On Water fun attraction in the middle of the lake by Moose Beach. My kids had fun trying to run the entire course with lots of slips and fall. The water temperature was just right even if it was slightly chilly by the time we got there. Beach was clean and area was nice with Tudhope park behind us with a splash pad, playground, ice cream stand and food stand nearby. There are clean washrooms/ change rooms also. Bonus for our visit was the Orillia Ribfest happening nearby so food was no problem. It was definitely a nice way to enjoy the last days of summer."

"The parking spot is quite big. You can play beach volleyball (2 nets), water splash park (kids pay 20, and adults 10 if going as a guardian) rent sup/kayak (price in photo 2022), and have a picnic."

"It was our first time visiting Moose Beach. We had a great time. Parking was free, beach was clean, bathrooms clean but Full of creepy spiders so pee fast lol. Ice cream and burger truck around the corner. Playground and Splash pad for younger kids and Inflatable water park ($22 for 2hrs). Water was alittle cold but it had a good stretch to walk out before your completely submerged. Kids loved it thats all that matters."
