The chance to see wildlife, like beaver lodges, and the stunning fall colors are significant draws. However, some visitors note litter in boundary areas and an unpleasant view from a nearby dump impacting certain sections.
"Beautiful area to walk around with clearly defined trails. The terrain is a bit uneven but great for beginners, families and an afternoon with a good book on one of the many benches!"

"It's a very nice park. I don't know if it blows in -- and I'm hoping that's what it is from -- but I've notice some litter in some of the boundary areas of the park.
Overall it's still a great place for a walk. You will be surrounded by wildlife be aware that with the vast forested areas around some of it may be large animals.
There are several beaver lodges in view of the park so there's a good chance of seeing one."
Robert Oh
"A great spot for a walk and the proposed boardwalk is now built. Spent a little over an hour walking around here, lots of benches to sit and enjoy the area. Unfortunately, and not through the fault of the park at all, there is a dump next to a part of this park, which ruins the view in that area."
