"We have been so blessed over the past two years to have found a home within the Trinity United Church congregation
They’re currently working on becoming a recognized (LGBTQ) Affirming Ministry and being part of that team has been so healing for me as an LGBTQ Christian. Their programming is very senior-oriented due to the primary demographic of the congregation, although they’re continuing to welcome in more young families into their nursery, children’s programs, and services. It’s exciting to see how the congregation continues to diversify with children, young adults, and families as COVID-19 restrictions have lessened
We’ve most recently enjoyed movie nights, a ukranian egg painting workshop, karaoke night, concerts, and other awesome events
They prioritize collaborating with the local community through clothing donation programs, warm meal programs, and initiatives with the Newmarket Public Library and Community Fridge next door
My husband and I celebrated our wedding day at Trinity United Church with the support of the Administration Office, Sandra (TUC Wedding Coordinator) and Rev. Linda in October 2023. We had so many questions about the ceremony and they all have the beautiful god-given gift of patience 😂
