"The New Westminster Quay, is a great place for a stroll along the boardwalk of the Fraser River, or just sit and watch all the Rivers activity. There are numerous restaurants, & cafes outside & inside to take a restful walking break. There is a inside Market, with numerous vendors selling their goods, & a food market with so many choices.
A Casino is near by if you want to try your luck. Also river cruises available off the Pier."

"I was passing by river market and I found out the world's tallest tin soldier. It's just next to a market where you can find fresh fruits and vegetables and the area has such a nice lookout.
My sister and me got some pictures and enjoyed such a great time, watched the sunset and ate some seafood from the boathouse which is a restaurant with an awesome service. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth the view.
Just in front of the tin soldier there is a small playground for kids around 10 years old and next to it there is the Fraser River discovery centre as well.
We had the fortune to enjoy everything around during Christmas time and it's so colorful because there are Christmas lights almost everything, so when the sunset is coming, there are a lot of good spot to take pictures because of these lights.
It's also an area where you can go enjoy a nice sightseeing, do some exercise, take your dog for a walk or go with your partner for a date.
It's definitely a great place to go to visit in case you live far away. Won't be disappointed and highly recommend because everything around is very clean too."

"It’s a very nice place to come with kids . We went on a Sunday evening , was calming with less people. My 2 year old enjoyed the boat/ ferry ⛴ and there were 3 tiny pretend play boats 🛥 which was nice 👍🏼. And the rubber play area . Good place to hang out and plenty of small shops ."
