Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Brewery District convenient due to its SkyTrain access and mix of shops and services, but many are put off by the high prices for parking and beverages. The 'Brewery District' name is misleading as there are no actual breweries. Some residents also report concerns about air quality and mysterious smells. Reddit+2

"This place is fun but 10$ sapporos - is insane, everything wine sells them for 3.50 a tall boy. Even during their happy hour I recieved a 30$+ bill for three beers so I was surprised. I would return but the prices are too crazy"

Scott Donnelly

"Killing time and walking up and down E. Columbia Street, I had time to explore and found some nice quiet spaces to relax and take in some views. But, there are also many small local shops, mostly offering food items, as well as mainstream restaurants, grocery and pharmacy stores. New Westminster is one of the older cities in the GVRD, and in recent years has been under going a revitalization. This area represents that moving forward. There are still challenges that are visibly evident, however it was inspiring to see the changes."

JLynn JR

"Beautiful area, however the underground parking is unaffordable. For 8 hours it cost me $50… as a student who was taking courses here, please make parking cheaper."
