What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Mae Wilson Theatre for its beautifully restored historic architecture and the quality of its live performances, from musicals to tribute concerts. However, some find the online ticketing website challenging to navigate, requiring patience during the booking process.
"Not inclusive.
Elitists trying to be the gatekeepers and taste-makers of the local scene. Moose Jaw only has one “community theatre”. It was meant for the community to have a place to perform not a cash cow for board members and investors. Truly disgusting behaviour, the same as Trump getting Jimmy Kimmel fired for personal reasons. Let the people decide!
Keep the dictators out of art and entertainment!
I knew Graham and Shane personally, they started the Mae Wilson theatre (MJCC) and they would be sickened by this grotesque display of power.
Moose Javians should be able to enjoy ‘Saskatchewan’s only travelling variety show’ even if it’s a struggling start-up. “Saskatchewan Nights Live” has over 5000 followers on Instagram and is slowly becoming Saskatchewan’s fastest growing live show, no thanks to the ‘entertainment fascists’ like Donald Trump and The Moose Jaw Culture Center.
What a shame!"
Garret Delaurier
"Such a beautiful theatre! So many of the original features have been kept. This theatre is over 100 years old! It is a step back in time to a long gone era. Staff are so friendly and educated in the history of the building. Treasures like this need to be supported!"
Brian Lee
"Very cool building, so glad they restored it. Saw Elf the Musical and it was awesome! Well done kids! 👏"
