What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Aquaclub La Source Mont-Tremblant is generally seen as a clean and safe place for swimming with plenty of lifeguards. Visitors appreciate the indoor and outdoor pool options and the relaxing hot tubs. However, some find the pricing high for the limited number of water attractions, especially for families seeking a full water park experience.
"Kids swimming area actually isn't as big as it seems from some pictures and it's not exactly a water park either because there's only 1 or 2 activities.
You can see the jumping rock and the hanging "Tarzan style" rope in the pictures I captured. The jumping rock is actually in the very deep end i.e. 10m so not all kids would feel comfortable jumping off it. Other than that, kids have very little to do in the water.
Similarly kiddie pool has a small slide and that's pretty much it.
Non-swimmers pay around $6 (including taxes) to get in."

"I regret to inform you that I had an unfortunate experience at the water park today. The staff's behavior towards my children was extremely disappointing and disrespectful. I am unsure about the appropriate channel to address this issue, so I am expressing my dissatisfaction through this message. I kindly request that you refrain from advertising on your Facebook page, as it contradicts the lack of concern shown towards your customers. I cannot recommend your water park to any families with children based on my experience. I hope this matter will be addressed promptly."

"This place is a whole bunch of fun. It's one of the better places in the village to get inside if the sun is beating down on you.
The prices are a little high, but it's what you might expect given the location. We paid a little over $50 for two adults and two "

Understanding the Aquaclub Experience
However, it's important to manage expectations. While some social media content might showcase a lively atmosphere, reviews suggest it's not a full-fledged water park with numerous thrilling slides. The children's area, while present, might be limited for some, with a small slide and a deep-water jumping rock as key features. This makes it more suitable for families with younger children or those who primarily enjoy general swimming and relaxation.
Pricing is a recurring point of discussion, with some visitors finding it a bit steep, especially for families. Non-swimmers also incur an entry fee. Despite the cost, many still find it a worthwhile destination for a few hours of enjoyment, particularly when the weather is not conducive to outdoor activities. Checking for potential renovations is also crucial, as pool closures can impact the available attractions.
Family Fun at Aquaclub La Source
While the facility is clean and well-maintained, some reviewers note that the variety of activities for children could be expanded. The jumping rock, while exciting, is located in the deep end, which may not be suitable for all children. Therefore, it's best to consider Aquaclub La Source as a place for general swimming and water play rather than an adrenaline-pumping water park experience.
Bringing a picnic lunch is a highly recommended tip for families looking to save money, as there's a dedicated area for it. This allows for a more extended and budget-friendly visit. Always check the operating hours and be aware of any potential closures due to renovations before your visit.
Maximizing Your Visit: Tips and Considerations
When it comes to budgeting, be aware that admission fees apply to everyone, including non-swimmers. Bringing your own food for a picnic is a smart way to manage costs, as on-site dining can be expensive. While the facility is clean and has ample lifeguards, consider the type of attractions available to ensure it aligns with your expectations, especially if you're seeking a high-thrill water park experience.
For those looking to combine fitness with their visit, the fitness center offers an additional amenity. Remember to pack essentials like swimwear and towels, though some facilities like lockers and showers with amenities are typically provided.
