What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Jones Creek Trails for its beautiful natural scenery, diverse paths, and enjoyable lookout points. It's a great spot for various activities like hiking, biking, and off-roading. Some minor drawbacks include the need for updated trail maps and the occasional presence of wildlife like geese.
"Loved visiting Jones Creek. Such great views from the marsh lookout and the trails were lots of fun. Lots of different paths to choose from in the forest and boardwalk. It’s definitely worth visiting both main and side entrance from the different road.Parking pass was for over 24h. Would definitely go back in the future. Only updated maps needed, as some trails are not accessible or connected to each other anymore. Browns Bay beach right across the road was great too."

"I only gave 4 stars because I haven't seen it all yet. Beautiful spot for a fall hike. We came here to have our family photos taken. Will definitely be back at different times of year to enjoy the forest."

"Jones Creek Trails is exactly what you’d hope for in a nature trail: trees, birds, winding paths, and the occasional goose giving you the side-eye like it runs the joint (because it kind of does).
Yes, there may be some goose poop. And yes, a feathered “cobra chicken” might try to assert dominance on the trail. But honestly, if you’re afraid of a little wildlife and fresh air, that’s more of a personal problem than a trail issue.
The paths are beautiful, well-maintained, and full of surprises—like a steep incline that reminds you of how rarely you use your gym membership. It’s a great place to reconnect with nature, question your cardio level, and maybe even find spiritual clarity between dodging goose honks.
If you like your nature wild, unfiltered, and occasionally sassily feathered, this place is perfect. Bring sturdy shoes, a sense of humor, and prepare to fall in love with the chaos of the outdoors."
