"Loved this hike! Took 40 minutes to do the loop. There’s plenty of parking at the trailhead, which is past the main campground road if you are heading east on Hwy 1.

There’s a lot of history about the railroad and the remaining stone pillars. We found every write up very interesting to read. The trail is mostly forested, but you get some views of the mountains and some nice photo ops.

Bring bug spray. Lots of mosquitoes 🦟 in August."
