I always tend to overlook Kingston & St. Andrew because I’m so close to it. But I’ve still explored the parishes to some extent. I’ve curated a list of places you can visit if you’re visiting or staying in Kingston & St. Andrew. These are some river spots/waterfalls and beaches you can visit. "We came to Kingston to see a concert at the Spire, which is a converted church. Next day, on our way home, we were looking for a place that the two of us could enjoy our coffee and treats. Very surprised to see the”Park”- which is only 10 hectares smaller than Vancouver’s Stanley Park.! This is a conservation park so unspoiled

Our first time there (from Orleans ON) but now we have a nature spot to visit next time. We are interested in trying out the trail walk. We waited for a few minutes and a Heron landed followed by other birds popping up - too far away to identify but we could see the colours. Kingston is lucky to have this area. They seem to run quite a lot of nature programs. Pancake seasons sounds like a good time to visit! We enjoyed our new quiet coffee spot."

"Nice place to visit. High point was feeding chickadees. There is a section of trail specifically labeled as a chickadee feeding area. If you bring black oil sunflower seeds, place some in your outstretched hand, and stand still, they will land on your hand and take seeds.

They are still timid and cautious, but my 6 and 11 year olds both found great success feeding them. They were delighted"

"Nice trail for an afternoon hike. Not too buggy but parts of trail were an inch under water when I was on it."
