"Beautiful station with a lot of charm and history! Jasper VIA Rail is set against a stunning backdrop of the Rockies, making it one of the most scenic train stations in Canada. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable. Boarding was smooth and well-organized. A great start to an unforgettable rail journey through the mountains. Definitely worth the visit — even if you’re not taking the train, the views and atmosphere are amazing!"

"Visit June 28, 2025.
Train station is beautiful as rest of Jasper and thanks god, it wasn’t affected by wildfires last year I liked its seating area as you feel it as special place with special decorations."

"I've stopped here several time taking the day long journey from Edmonton to Vancouver and Back, when that used to be a viable means of transportation. More recently I stopped by to view Engine 6015, and to have a look at the Rock Mountain Overlander or American Orient Express (tourism) train. It's also a great spot to catch sight of the moon rising over distant Mount Edith Cavell. If visitors step off the train (usually a minimum 20 minute stop) they can get an ice cream and admire views of many of the mountains surrounding the valley that Jasper resides within."
