"This is a functioning mill. And it’s impressive!
It is part museum, and wood shop too. It smells lovely and entertained 3 small kids and 5 adults.
We met Don and he gave us an excellent tour, detailing the operations and history. We got to see fresh cut black walnut slabs, and hear stories. There are small exhibits, gems of knowledge like where “sleep tight” comes from, and a nice community here.
It’s open on Thursdays. Don’t pass it by!"
