"On the outskirts of town but still very close to the city, the restaurants within the resort are super expensive so we drove only 10 minutes to an awesome local restaurant instead. Lakeside view is gorgeous but the beds and pillows are uncomfortable.
Pool was quite spacious and the perfect temperature.
Arcade was a disappointment , half the machines eat your credits and do not work.
Gift shop is lovely to browse but $100 for a pair of track pants is insane"

"Our family had a great time. We wish the front desk was more informed about all the activities available. When we phoned in to book our room we asked if there was anything unique happening over the weekend and they said just the normal activities. They totally forgot to tell us on Saturday when we arrived there was a special event focused on the Northern lights and at this time it was possible to see them.
I had seen something about this on their website but didn't notice that the event was actually going to be at Deerhurst.
We also stumbled across their fall maze, which our kids loved.
We had hoped to bike the trails but they didn't have any kids sized bikes (which they should mention online because if they had we would have brought our kids bikes)
We stayed pretty late on the day of check out (they said we could). Be aware that the doors to the pool may lock for you mid day.
We also played pickleball, frisbee golf and foot golf.
The beds were exceptional.
In the fall you should bring walking sticks if you are a bit unsteady on your feet and you plan to hike the trails. The trails are uneven one part can be steep initially, the leaves also create slippery services."

"We stayed at Deerhurst Resort during the first week of October and loved it so much. We travelled with a group. The hotel is immaculate, beautiful, spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The view in the back is breathtaking. The meals were absolutely wonderful and fine dining quality and met my strict dietary needs. The waiters, chef and staff were all amazing and catered to our every need with accuracy and speed. Our room was beautiful, spacious, immaculate and equipped with everything you would need. I loved the massive terrace that wraps around the breakfast hall and dining room overlooking the incredible panoramic view. There is so much to see and do both indoors and outdoors and there are many spots to sit in a quiet beautiful space as well, while you wind down for the evening."
