Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Grand Bend Farmers' Markets for their high-quality, fresh products and the convenience of online ordering. The friendly atmosphere and diverse offerings, especially the specialty foods and street food options, are frequently highlighted. Some past confusion about market locations and operating days has been noted, but the year-round availability of the Village Market and the vibrant Street Food Sundays are major draws.
"I have been a customer of this market since it began. I really like the online ordering and payment. The quality of the products is outstanding and the addition of Wandering Farm this year was amazing and Sheldon Berries always has superb fresh produce, especially raspberries. I must admit I do miss connecting with the community as we have done in past years but you did a valiant job throughout this past summer."

"I have yet to visit The Grand Bend Village Farmers Market, the reason I'm giving it
4 stars is that it's open Year Round. Which is Amazing, I saw that they offer Gluten-free Pierogies, something I have not tried but as a Celiac am so EXCITED to see they have foods that I Love and haven't been able to get.
I took away 1 star because I've heard about The Grand Bend Village Farmers Market a number of years ago but I was never able to find it or find out what day it's on & in Grand Bend or Dashwood, I should be able to find out by asking 1 to 4 people I know and that should be a lot of people too have to ask.
It also makes me Hopeful that there will be other gluten-free foods there for me to try. Especially bread, I have found one Bakery who's bread is so Good but it's not easy for me to get there so I don't get it very often. If I could find another place that sells Good Bread, especially Bakery Bread, that was as close to me as Grand Bend is I cannot tell you how THRILLED I WOULD BE to be able to buy fresh and I would Happily buy frozen if I had too.
(I would Love to be able to buy Bread Dough -so I could make sweet & savoury pull-aparts, Chelsea buns, homemade Pizza etc..)
I would be thrilled and am even hopeful to find some baked goods that are gluten-free, yet made with milk and butter etc. I take Lactose Pills so I can eat the real thing as it does taste much better, so if I could find baked goods that were gluten-free also and my hubby couldn't tell the difference (the ultimate test to me!!) I would be THRILLED.
I'm very Sorry this ended up so long, I found out 1: Where the GBVFM was located. 2: That it's open year round, and that I could order on-line & and get pick up or deliverey.
3: The variety of food and vendor's that are there on-line or in person year round and with this pandemic. The Market still seems to be going good and Strong, which is Incredible.
4: That there is such a thing as gluten-free Pierogies and that they're available for sale there, which is Very EXCITING to me and that makes me Hopeful that if I call a few of the other vendor's that there may be other gluten-free foods available by request.
I found all of this out because I was looking to see if there was any place in Grand Bend that sold Smoked Coffee Beans, I saw them advertised on a Canadian fishing show my Husband was watching. Since I Love Coffee, I knew I had try Smoked Coffee, now I just hope it comes in a smooth, bold coffee. So I'm just very HAPPY that I looked up "Smoked Coffee" since I've now found a bunch of things I really want to try, since the market's so close to me I may end up a regular, if I get my way.
Thank you very much in Advance from someone who cannot wait to get there as soon as she possibly can.
Sincerely Karen"

"I just started using the on-line & pick up service this winter at Oakwood on Wednesdays and all I can say is that the process is so EASY! From the convenience of your home you order your food and pay for it. On Wednesday show up at Oakwood and they put the food right in your vehicle. Love the convenience. And the high quality food from each vendor is spectacular! Love Cedarvilla's meat and I forget who makes these but the sourdough bread, vegan red pepper dip and peanut sauce are INCREDIBLE! Of course Bushy's salsa is a must. Can't get salsa like that in the grocery store! GREAT JOB FOLKS!"
