"Love this park. Weekly Saturday park run at 9am, beaches are great and trails have just been resurfaced. You can go all the way to Aylmer beach on the path ways. Lovely and shaded and area where you can see the rapids and lots of birds. There are also clean public toilets and outside showers to rinse your feet off and a community hall where they host various classes."

"Great views. Easy to get to from Ottawa along NCC pathways and the pedestrian bridge. Loads of amenities, such as volleyball, baseball, soccer, basketball and of course a sandy beach area with lifeguards at certain times.
There are picnic tables and grilling pits. Bring charcoal. There are bathrooms and changing facilities. Parking. Nearby there is an amazing pizza joint, quickie store, Dairy Queen and even a motel.
Everybody seems quite friendly and lets you jump in on a game like volleyball."

"It was awesome. There was "Zumba in the park" for free on Wednesdays at 7pm. I was able to park my car, walk with baby in the stroller and dance away. It was nicely organized with instructors and places for the people to dance. They had loud speakers so even though I danced in the back, I could hear the music. Great music selection too! 80s music, Salsa, Current pop music, etc. The instructors were energetic too. Next time I'll bring my husband and toddler. The park is very large. There's a community center building, baseball diamond, basketball court and two playgrounds with picnic tables everywhere. And it's right at the water. There is a beach and bike path too. Absolutely beautiful. I will go again ❤"
