However, the best parts are the dirt trails that branch off from the main trail, especially after Green Lane and before reaching Holland Landing. There's even a stunt area for bikers that has been around for ages, built up by generations of youth - worth checking out if only just to see it because it's pretty cool, though use at your own risk. "We decided to go to the Aurora arboretum and somehow got confused with how big it actually is and ended up here! It was beautiful! Perfect spot to hike with your dog! A lot of people were cycling perhaps to finish the whole trail. There are multiple parking spots for this trail. Using the All trails app definitely helps to track where you are, where you could be heading etc.
Not many picnic spots. Hope to visit the actual Aurora arboretum next time. Not sure why every trail around here states it’s a part of the arboretum. Perhaps everything is connected? Need to explore to find out!"
