Exploring the Tidal Flats
When the tide is out, you can walk for a considerable distance to reach the water's edge. This can be a long trek back if the tide starts coming in quickly, so always be aware of your surroundings and the tide's movement. Some visitors have noted that the sand can be soft and muddy in certain areas, so appropriate footwear is recommended. The sheer scale of the exposed seabed offers a different perspective on the coastline and a sense of tranquility away from the usual beach crowds.

The beach's gentle slope and relatively calm waters are also suitable for younger children to play in. With ample parking and a complete set of facilities, Centennial Beach provides a stress-free environment for families looking to spend quality time outdoors and enjoy the coastal scenery.
Birdwatching Paradise
Binoculars are highly recommended for an optimal birdwatching experience. While the park offers walking trails, it's important to be quiet and respectful of the wildlife. The sheer number and variety of birds make Boundary Bay a must-visit for any nature enthusiast or avid birder looking for excellent wildlife photography opportunities.
