"Short hike to a group of old-growth douglas fir trees. They are beautiful to just appreciate sheer size and age only 3/7 are left standing but what remains of the others can be seen as well.
The trail can either be started from the Entrance Bay Campground or the Clear Creek Campground and makes a small loop and returns to the campsite along the same path you came takes about 1 hour to complete. Nice easy trail."

"Great local hike, out-and-back means not having to walk on the busy roadway back to your vehicle."
Mark Smith
"I thought about this trail constantly since I first visited and couldn’t wait to come back. Nicest on an overcast day. The drama of all the thick moss hanging off the trees is incredible."
