Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty and abundant wildlife of the Columbia River Wetlands, particularly praising the opportunities for birdwatching and paddling. Many appreciate the free camping options available on nearby forestry roads, offering a budget-friendly way to experience the area. However, some note the significant mosquito presence and the limited availability of amenities like restrooms and designated campsites.

"Very beautiful spot to pitch a tent for the night. 2WD accessible. Road onto the lot has been blocked but not a big deal if your willing to tote your gear in a little ways, can’t complain for a free place to spend the night. Great views and quiet!"

Hannah Ganske

"cool spot, free camping but somewhat limited spots since they blocked off access to one of the larger ridgelines which clearly used to be accessible by car to room for at least 12-15 well spaced sites. you can still setup a tent there you just have to leave the car 20-50m back. can't complain for the awesome vibes and free spot though.
there's also a pit toilet about 10mins down the road just past the sawmill on your way in/out so plan accordingly."

Austin James Lavigne

"No pit toilet, no campsites, no fire rings, no tables, day use only. Should be labeled forestry park.. misleading. Beautiful spot to stop to take a picture."
