What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally praise Loree Forest for its beautiful, well-maintained trails and peaceful forest atmosphere, making it ideal for casual hikes and dog walks. The shaded paths are a plus on warm days. However, the parking fees at the Blue Mountain Village access point are a significant drawback for many, leading to mixed feelings about the overall value.
"We enjoyed a nice hike through the Loree Forest trail. Most of the trail is flat and about 5 km to walk the loop. The path is marked quite well. Most of the trail is shaded by the forest so it's not too warm on a hot day. We enjoyed the forest landscape and it wasn't too busy in the morning but we noticed more hikers as we were leaving. My only negative comment is Blue Mountain Village is now charging $10 per hour to park at the trail entrance and the hike is a bit over 2 hours if you want to take your time and enjoy the forest. So $30 to park and hike is ridiculous. Otherwise, I would rate this trail a 5 out of 5."

"My family and I enjoyed a lovely hike here today! The trail was beautiful and quiet, ran into a few doggies on the way :) we completed the loop in an hour & found the trail to be quite easy (and my parents are not regular hikers). We didn’t mind the parking charge ($10 for 2 hours) as we were visiting the area but I can see how it is frustrating for regulars to the area! Be sure to check out the look out point on your hike as well"

"Awesome Trail. Patches of damn soil. Best time during the fall is on a sunny afternoon. It's a bit cold when sun light does not penetrate so make sure you have a jacket."
