The well-maintained trails and easy access from the parking lot are frequently praised, making it a convenient stop. "I thought this place was stunning. It's a short enough hike to get your heart pumping but not long enough to exhaust you. There are stairs but not overwhelming. The bridge feels secure. The high fencing feels secure too. Well kept. I didn't see any garbage anyway. The pathways were clear and not mucky even tho we went on a fairly wet day."

EBS

"Easy to access the suspension bridge from the free car park about a 10 minute walk. The bridge is not too long and doesn't wobble much and leads to a good viewing platform. The views of the falls are good although there is a better view you can walk to about 20 minutes away"

Rog Edwards

"Worth a quick stop if you’re in Campbell River!

The entrance to Elk Falls Suspension Bridge is easy to find, with plenty of parking available. There is some construction going on at the moment, so keep that in mind when visiting.

The trail to the bridge is short and easy — about a 10–15 minute walk. The stairs are solid and comfortable to climb, making it accessible for most. The suspension bridge itself has a bit of a wobble, which might be a little intense if you’re not a fan of heights.

The view from the bridge is decent, but some of the viewpoints along the trail actually offer a better look at the falls.

Overall, it’s a nice, quick stop if you’re passing through — great for stretching your legs and snapping a few photos!"
