"Really awesome hidden gem, passed by many times but this time decided to try out a little hike. 3 hours later, we’re starving but didn’t want to go back, lol.
Two parts to the park- the intensive trail network and the quarry swamps.
The trails are awesome, lots of little streams (some may be dry depending on the season you go in) in the area so there are a lot of little bridges. Tons of frogs and insects in the streams that kids would love to see. Some of the trails may have some steeper sections, but nothing hardcore.
The old quarry has been turned into a swamp with boardwalks. Lots of turtles in the area, saw families catching them with nets and releasing them back. Great experience for kids and everyone there as well.
Loved it overall. Will return in the fall to check out the colours- they’re mostly broadleaf trees in there so the colours should be spectacular."

It’s a nice park to distress and recharge."
