Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Brackley Beach for its beautiful, expansive red sand and well-maintained facilities, including clean washrooms and accessible options. The scenic trails and opportunities for beachcombing are also highlights. While generally a positive experience, some find the water cooler than expected, and the park entry fee is a consideration for some.

"This was such a beautiful beach. It cost $17.50 to get in (credit card/debit accepted) which gives you re-entry privileges until the following day at noon (entry is free after 5 or 6pm I believe). There was plenty of parking even though it was a hot, sunny summer weekend day. We hiked along the trail towards Robinson's Island which was very easy and flat (there just wasn't any shade so make sure you're properly covered in case it's sunny). The beach was great - the change rooms and washrooms were extremely clean, there were water fountains and outdoor showers, and a little shop to buy food and other beach necessities. Brackley beach itself was clean and massive, so there was plenty of space even though there were lots of people. The dunes were spectacular and this beach was a perfect spot for watching the sunset."

Natasha Isloor

"Beautiful beach with large sand dunes and scenic trails. Well kept and very busy but still lots of space. We got there at high tide and eventually were able to walk really far out on the sand bars. Very well maintained beach and surrounding area."

David O'Neill

"Beautiful red sand beach less than a half hour from Charlottetown. Great beach for strolling, swimming or splashing (if you don't mind the cooler waters off PEI) and cycling. They have a nice bike path, about 14 miles out and back, the runs adjacent to the beach.
There is a small fee for beach access, but the restrooms, changing rooms and fresh water make it worth it.

They keep the park clean and pristine. if you visit, please help keep it that way."
