Reviews Summary

Visitors praise City Garden as a beautiful and central green oasis in Sofia, perfect for a relaxing break. The illuminated fountain in the evenings and the lively chess scene are frequently highlighted as charming aspects. While the information center's language barrier is noted, the park's overall tranquility and proximity to museums make it a beloved spot.

"🔥🔥🔥
great park also surrounded by other parks which is always nice - you can have your choice
there’s a information centre in the middle where you can get books (free I think ) but sucks for you if you don’t speak bulgarian
edit: we got stuck in a storm here and the best part was that the theatre had an undercover section to get away from the rain."

Antonia Palermo

"Beautiful evenings! There are some people singing also. The sound from the fountains is so appealing."

Shamsh Hoda

"We only walked through it but there is a good Costa Coffee right at the side of it. There are better parks in Sofia to hang out in and this is not really the place to hang out but a nice break from going to the National Art Gallery, the Ethnographic Museum, and the Sofia Art Museum, all of which are adjacent to the park."
