"Lake Muratovo hike, mid May 2025. Unusual late snowy week. Got up to Vihren with the car, were concerned that we wouldn't be able to drive past Banderitsa but it was ok. Snow patches near the road, lots of trees that fell but were cut and removed from the road. The initial climb from Vihren is not easy, many rocks so it's not easy to get a grip, especially with wet rocks. Luckily there was no snow on the trail, but suddenly light snow began falling as hail. Plus heavy clouds began rolling in from the west, so we decided to return. I flew the drone to complement the pictures.
Shame that we weren't able to complete the trail, but it was beautiful nonetheless."
