Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Royal Mausoleum to be a well-maintained and peaceful historical site, offering a proper place to pay respects to former royalty. The architecture and surrounding gardens are often highlighted as points of interest, contributing to a serene and reflective experience.

"Worth visiting. The place is within the archaeological park. There is a trail that would lead to some archaeological sites / diggings / ruins within the forest and finally to the maritime museum and technological museum vice versa. The place is well kept. The place is on a downhill from the mainroad in between the highway and the museum complex by the river. A proper place to give respect to the former sultan."

"A nice park with overhead views of Brunei's most significant archaeological find thus far. Another highlight is the mausoleum. You can wander in and have a look. Quiet and peaceful. Aristocratic cemetery also on site. There is a small but interesting interpretive center to learn about the history of Kota Batu as the first capital site of Brunei, and the dig."

Nathan Gildart

"The mausoleum strangely smell very nice and at the same time feel scary."
